Upon arrival to the home, the homeowner made me aware that his hose bib was leaking, along with multiple jobs in the home including installing a toilet, kitchen faucet, and repiping the home from CPVC to pex. He is interested in picking up his own faucet and toilet.
After arriving to the property a representative from the remodeling company met me to explain the situation, the contractors building the new foundation for the master suite addition onto the Home have struck the water line coming from the whale to the pressure tank in multiple spots, and proceeded to finish the foundation before making repairs to the waterline, the existing material is blue polybutylene waterline which is no longer being manufactured nor do they make repair parts for it, after assessment of the situation I have provided multiple upfront prices to run a new waterline from the whale around the backside of the property staying approximately 5 to 10 foot after new foundation and tying into the home, given that the property is vacant the representative from the kitchen remodel company is going to take this information to the person overseeing the renovation budget and contact me with any questions comments or concerns. After arriving to the home homeowner made me aware that he currently is without water, he also may be aware that he has already checked incoming power to the pressure switch and stated that the well currently has power but itâ€™s not producing water, after having the homeowner cut the breaker back on we moved to the well house that contains the well itself, water system and pressure tank which has been replaced fairly recently, the age of the pump is unknown, initially testing there currently is no voltage coming in to the pressure switch from the breaker panel, after returning to the breaker panel and verifying the powers coming out of the panel the homeowner should seek out an electrician to assist him moving forward and call back if there is still a plumbing issue present
