Septic tank

The only reason I gave one star on the cost is because I am still unsure what it will cost if I have a bigger issue. We will see on Thursday when I see you again

Great service. Quick response.

Our service technician, Blake Harrison did the impossible, getting our stubborn kitchen sink unclogged. My hubby is usually the fix it guy for electrical, plumbing, and home projects. But, after multiple failed attempts to unclog the sink, he decided to call in the professionals. Blake to the rescue. He was prompt, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and very personable. He’s now our go to guy at Quality Service Today for plumbing problems. Blake even brought a broom to clean up, extra points for that.

-Includes Replacement of PRV in Pantry, with New Gaskets, Ensure New PRV Regulates Pressure to Below 75 psi Without Thermal Expansion Tank, and T&P Replacement, I Cannot Guarantee That T&P will Not Leak. I arrived today to take a look at a leaking water heater. Located in the garage, the homeowner has noticed water coming from the T&P and this has left water all over the garage floor. I began by checking the whole house pressure, which registered above 100 psi. I made the homeowner aware of the dangers of having high pressure. We went though the home and checked all fixtures, and none of them seem to be leaking/dripping. This doesn’t mean that they won’t in the future, but the water pressure being excessive adds extra wear and tear on the fixtures. Residential homes are not meant for high pressure. I located the PRV in the first floor kitchen pantry. Once getting a good idea of what’s going on, I gave the homeowner multiple options with upfront pricing. We have decided to go with th

Upon arrival Brett and I discussed the issues he was dealing with. He stated that the en-suite bathroom toilet’s tank to bowl bolts had corroded/broke. He stated he would take care of that himself, but the major issue he’s having is the water heater not providing hot water. To help rectify this I Preformed a thorough diagnosis of the gas water heater to find cause of failure. After a thorough evaluation it was discovered he was out of L.P. Brett Had the gas provider he utilizes come out and refill his tank. Once the L.P. Tank was filled the water heater cut on and operated with no issues.

➖Cut a hole in the celling to further diagnose the issue ➖Replace no caulk shower drain *Note we don’t replace sheet rock Upon arrival to the home homeowner made me aware that they had noticed some discoloration in the ceiling. Upon further diagnosis I came to the conclusion that there was a leak somewhere in the ceiling. I then proceeded to cut a hole in the ceiling and come to find that the shower drain had been leaking for sometime now causing water damage to the ceiling and wood around it. I then proceeded to give the homeowner upfront pricing and options to get this issue fixed today. The homeowner decided to have me go ahead and do the work to get the issue resolved. I began by making the whole big enough so that I could fit in it and cutting out the old shower drain and then installing the new shower drain. Once the new shower drain was installed properly I tested thoroughly to make sure that nothing was leaking. I then proceeded to contact bio clean to come out and inspec

After arriving to the home, the homeowner made me aware of how the toilet we have previously installed was giving her trouble. It’s the pressure assisted rear outlet toilet. The homeowner turned the water off to the toilet, and when I arrived I turned the water back to it. The toilet began to fill and ran without shutting off. I had to pull on the plunger ever so slightly to help reset the flush mechanism. After that, the toilet flush mechanism filled and reset accordingly. I flushed the toilet 3 additional times and observed 3 separate times of the pressure vessel filling and shutting off on its own. At this time, the toilet is functioning properly without issue. If this issue should persist, we will need to figure out another way to move forward and resolve the inconsistency in the toilets performance.

Upon arrival to the home the homeowner made me aware that she had a handyman come out and do some work to her bathrooms to remodel them. She claimed that he had caused a leak on one of the angle stops and fixed it himself with a shark bite fitting. However the homeowner is not satisfied with his work and would like for me to replace all of the angle stops including the one that he installed. I told the homeowner about how the insurance will not cover the shark bite fitting that leaks. I’ve been proceeded to give her upfront pricing and options to get this issue fixed today. However the homeowner would like me to email her the options but would like to fill out a financing form to do option one.

➖New angle stop in the bathroom ➖Service partner plan Upon arrival to the home the homeowner made me aware that he was having an issue with a emergency stop on the bathroom toilet that was not shutting off properly. Upon further diagnosis I came to the conclusion that this was indeed true and that the angle stop was broke off. I’ve been proceeded to give the homeowner upfront pricing and options to get this issue fixed today. The homeowner decided to have me go ahead and do the work to get the issue resolved. I began by shutting off the water to the home and then draining the water down. I then proceeded to cut out the old valve and sand the pipe down so that the new valve could be installed on the half-inch copper line. Once the new valve was installed I turned the water back on to the home and tested everything to make sure that it was working properly. Everything is working properly at this time. The homeowner only wants the membership for one month but said that he will call bac

I arrived today to give pricing on permanent solutions for the homes septic system. We had previously pumped the septic pump station basin. This component on the system has failed, and caused water to back up. The homeowner made me aware that the alarm on the system has not worked, and also that he has not performed any maintenance or serviced anything on his septic system. I took the outdoor box cover off, and checked the electrical. I was able to determine that the piggyback float and alarm float are faulty, and the pump somewhat works, but the pumping was slow, and we believe most of these components are original to the home. I gave the homeowner options with upfront pricing to get these issues addressed and solved. At this time, he is going to call his home insurance and see about getting some of the worked covered.

-Pump out sewage pump station up to 1000 gallons (additional cost per 100 gallons) Upon arrival I spoke with the homeowner and he showed me the location of his sewer pump station and showed where it had been seeping into the lawn. After evaluation I realized the sewer pump was not working. I then let the homeowner know that our sewer specialist will come by and take a look at the issue. I then gave the homeowner an upfront option on getting it pumped. After signature approval I pumped it clean and clear. Upon completion I cleaned up all tools and materials.

Upon arrival to the home I made the homeowner aware that I was there to perform at 65 point home inspection. As well as to flush out the water heater. I began bye shutting the water off to the heater and then flushing it properly. Once the heater was done flushing I proceeded to perform at 65 point home inspection. I went around and checked all of the drains and water supply connections in the home as well as all of the fixtures. I did not find any major issues in the home however I did notice that there is polybutylene pipes in the crawlspace and I made the homeowner aware of the dangers of the polybutylene pipe. Everything is working properly at this time.

After arriving to the home, the homeowner made me aware of some Well water issues they’ve been experiencing. They find themselves changing sediment filters every 3 to 5 months. They are getting a very fine silty sand sediment deposits all through the home. This has affected their fixtures, and appliances. The homeowner has gone through 2 washing machines, their dishwasher does not clean their dishes effectively, and aerators get clogged. The home was built a little over 2 years ago. I began by testing the water at the well head, which would give me the most accurate results. The first test gave reading of very acidic and iron water, which I the purged more water and did a second test. Those results are as follows: pH: 6.8 Hardness: 12 grains per gallon Iron: > 1 parts per million The home does not have a usable crawlspace, so water treatment systems would need to be installed in a prefabricated storage shed. I gave the homeowner options with upfront pricing to get the water treated. At

I arrived today to check the work we completed previously. The homeowners had a few concerns that needed to be addressed. I started off by switching the front hose bib from hot to cold, these lines got switch during the Repipe. I verified that the remaining hot and cold lines were ran correctly. At this time, we are returning to change water line size since sustained Water Volume has been an issue throughout the home.

After arriving to the home the homeowner made me aware that her septic tank is currently having pieces of the wall fall into it allowing ground water and dirt into the tank, and has been this way for sometime, currently there is a deck built on top of the septic tank rendering me unable to perform an assessment of the drainfield or incoming sewer line, after discussion with the homeowner about multiple upfront prices as well as financial opportunities the homeowner has requested that I reach back out to her on Thursday at noon to further discuss the matter

After arriving to the home to perform a camera inspection of the main sewer line I was able to indicate that the cast iron is in poor shape and the sewer line runs across the back of the property followed by turning down the driveway and heading towards the street, due to an improper fitting in the ground my camera was not able to make the second turn to be sent all the way down the driveway, at this time I have supplied multiple upfront prices on various solutions as well as discussed during financial routes with the homeowner needs time to discuss things with her fiancé and I will be following up on Wednesday evening
