I was called to a home to descale and tune up a tankless water heater. The homeowner had noticed that the water coming out of the faucets was not as hot as it used to be and that the water heater was making strange noises. Upon inspection, I found that the tankless water heater had a buildup of mineral deposits on the heat exchanger. This buildup was causing the water heater to work harder than it should, resulting in reduced efficiency and increased energy consumption. To descale the heat exchanger, I used a specialized descaling solution that was injected into the system through the drain valve. The solution worked to dissolve the mineral deposits and restore the efficiency of the water heater. After descaling the heat exchanger, I performed a tune-up on the water heater to ensure that all the components were working properly. This included checking the pressure relief valve, the temperature and pressure relief valve, and the gas valve. The homeowner was very pleased with the res
