I was called to a home in the suburbs to service an American Standard heating and cooling system. Upon arrival, I found that the system was not cooling properly. I checked the thermostat and found that it was set to "heat." I reset the thermostat and tested the system again. This time, the system was cooling properly. I also checked the air filter and found that it was dirty, so I replaced it with a new one. I also checked the condensate drain and found that it was clogged, so I cleared it out. After completing these repairs, the system was cooling properly again. The homeowner was very happy with the service and thanked me for my help.
