The technician came on Monday to deal with a no hot water issue. He determined that a part was required over the next 4 days I received no communication on whether a part had been found and when the fix would be complete. Calling ClearView only resulted in a “I will get back to you” response, with no follow up. I requested to speak with a manager and received no response. The technician called yesterday saying that a part had been found in Texas and it would be a week to 10 days to deliver. I asked for the part to be expedited and he was unsure as to when the work would be completed. My concern is that I am the only one with a sense of urgency. I am currently a customer of your yearly service for furnace, boiler & AC. I have yet to see anyone service the AC this year. I am currently evaluating my options.

I have no concerns with the service itself. My concern is with the scheduling providing me a 12 hour window. This to me implies that you consider your service time more valuable than mine. If this can not be rectified I will be forced to cancel my service contract.

Very professional approach with booking confirmation, heads up reminder, on time arrival, cleanliness and technician's knowledge of the issue we were experiencing. However, we were able to source and replace three toilets for much less than quoted by Clearview (~$1,800 vs. $4,140). We did not need higher grade toilets for the rental unit Clearview was suggesting.

Incredible same day service.. Our plumbing problem was unsolvable to two or three other plumbers, however, Yamil clearly explained our options and gave us the dollar amount.. Jamil was friendly and very knowledgeable about what steps had to be taken to solve our problem. I would definitely want Yamil to be our to go to guy for any future plumbing problems. Today I came to Marc’s Okotoks home to perform the annual furnace tune up and hydronic heat system inspection and maintenance. Clearview replaced the second floor furnace 3 years ago but the main floor furnace and boiler are original to the home and 10 years old. Hydronic heating system: Upon inspection and maintenance of the 10 year old system I tested and adjusted the boiler, heat exchanger, ignition and flame rectification systems, venting and gas lines. Checked all pumps and zone valves, piping and controls. Check air elimination devices and expansion system. Tested glycol levels, hydronic feeder, and general system operation. The system is in poor condition. The ibc combi boiler is pumping into a converted storage tank which means the boiler must be heating throughout the day to satisfy the tank rather than operate as a true combination boiler. The systems auto feed has failed. Once I manually pressured up the system I found the boiler pressure sensor has failed and still indic
Today I came to Marc’s Okotoks home because the boiler was not working after repairs were made. Upon inspection I found the domestic pump was air locked. I removed the air from the pump and the system is running well now.

I attended Bonitas mobile home in okotoks to perform a furnace plan service. Furnace is in very good condition without any issues. We just did the duct cleaning in 2021 and they are still clean.
Today I came to Alison’s Okotoks rental property to inspect the furnace. The home is sold. The home inspector found the furnace to be working in an unsafe manor where flames are shooting out of the combustion box. Another heating technician from another company came out and determined there was a crack in the heat exchanger. The technician provided no evidence of the crack and also did not shut down the furnace as per plumbing and gas code 3.21 where by law a gas appliance must be condemned should such a failure be found. Upon diagnostic of the 17 year old furnace I found it is in poor condition. When the furnace starts there is a small explosion and flames shoot out of the furnace. This is extremely unsafe. The cause of this is the system design, maintenance, and warn parts. This particular furnace has the igniter at the last burner where most, in fact all other furnaces have the igniter at the first burner. Today Feb 5 I came to Paul’s home in Priddis because his hot water tank isn’t working properly. Upon visual inspection this is exactly the case. The hot water tank is 10+ years old and showing major signs of wear. The tank is used for slab heat. There is a one zone system for in floor heating in the basement. Paul has said the water stinks. This could be a sign of a cracked loop in the tank. The floor water is potentially being mixed with the domestic hot water which is very alarming. Paul would also like a quote on a new furnace. The water softener in Paul’s home is very old and not protecting the system properly. Paul has a well system so the water is very hard and full of sediment. Water pressure is perfect (60psi). I have emailed quotes to Paul. Paul will discuss with his wife this afternoon and make a decision. Paul thanked me for stopping by.
Tech performed plumbing maintenance inspection. Check all faucets, toilets, tubs and showers, kitchen sink, laundry water lines, hot and cold supply lines, check shut offs, check house hold water pressure, flushed domestic hot water system System working well Tech found a small leak on the venting for the tankless and stopped the leak as per warranty. Tech called home owner and went over findings and quote to perform a tankless flush or install a water softener. Client declined for now
Today I came to Errol and Susan’s Okotoks home to quote for furnace and a/c system upgrades for the CEIP government program. Upon inspection of the home I found it requires 63950 btus to properly heat and 3 tons of cooling. There is no indoor air quality or humidification system in place. Errol still has to get the energy home assessment before he can get work approved.
Today I came to Roberts home in Okotoks to perform the annual plumbing inspection. During the evaluation we have discovered a high pressure fault in the system of over 80 psi for this reason in combination with the poly B piping I have strongly encouraged to install a pressure control today. The softener is aging over 10 years old and missing the proper bypass piping and shutoffs - heavy deposits of calcium observed on several fixtures, for this reason I have recommended to replace this softener. There are multiple drainage fractures in the home that are currently leaking as well as seized poly b shutoffs 1 of which is currently leaking under the kitchen sink. I have recommended to get these repairs done today - Robert says he can handle drainage repairs and shutoffs on his own and for this reason has decided not to have the repairs done. Today I came to Steven’s Okotoks home to perform a furnace tune up before winter. Steven just moved into the home 1.5 years ago and wants to make sure the system is going to last the winter. Furnace tune up: Upon tune up and inspection of the 27 year old system I tested and adjusted the gas valve, burners, gas pressure and temperature rise. Tested ignition system, inducing motor and assembly, blower motor and assembly, heat exchanger, static pressures, tested and tightened all electrical connections, all safety switches and control board. Furnace is in very poor condition. The inducing motor, thermocouple and gas valve are all working well with manufacturers specifications as is the control board and safety switches. The blower motor has over heated at least once which caused its internal liquified grease pack to rupture. This will result in failure. The heat exchanger has at least 4 large cracks that I can see. This deems the system unsafe for use and it must be shut down until the
Today Jim veenstra was called out too install a new HEPA filter. Upon completion I plugged in the unit. Unit looks great and I went over general Maintenance With Ines. Warranty on filter is 5years.
