The technician came on Monday to deal with a no hot water issue. He determined that a part was required over the next 4 days I received no communication on whether a part had been found and when the fix would be complete. Calling ClearView only resulted in a “I will get back to you” response, with no follow up. I requested to speak with a manager and received no response. The technician called yesterday saying that a part had been found in Texas and it would be a week to 10 days to deliver. I asked for the part to be expedited and he was unsure as to when the work would be completed. My concern is that I am the only one with a sense of urgency. I am currently a customer of your yearly service for furnace, boiler & AC. I have yet to see anyone service the AC this year. I am currently evaluating my options.
Very thorough with his work and did a great job.
Jon and Jason were very friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciated the fact that I was shown all options and pricing before having the work done. Everything was done perfectly and expediently. Highly recommend.
I have no concerns with the service itself. My concern is with the scheduling providing me a 12 hour window. This to me implies that you consider your service time more valuable than mine. If this can not be rectified I will be forced to cancel my service contract.
Very professional approach with booking confirmation, heads up reminder, on time arrival, cleanliness and technician's knowledge of the issue we were experiencing. However, we were able to source and replace three toilets for much less than quoted by Clearview (~$1,800 vs. $4,140). We did not need higher grade toilets for the rental unit Clearview was suggesting.
Incredible same day service.. Our plumbing problem was unsolvable to two or three other plumbers, however, Yamil clearly explained our options and gave us the dollar amount.. Jamil was friendly and very knowledgeable about what steps had to be taken to solve our problem. I would definitely want Yamil to be our to go to guy for any future plumbing problems. Thank you Yamil.
Thanks for coming by and helping ua to get the service and price that we wanted. Thanks
Today I came to Rod’s Okotoks home to evaluate the sanitary sewer. 4 years ago Rod experienced a sewer back up. The line was cleared and a camera inspection was done. At the time a large pipe belly under the front attached garage and driveway was found and was quoted for replacement. Rod has noticed his driveway has sunk another 2-3 inches and believes now is the time to replace the pipe. Upon camera inspection today I found a large pipe belly extending from 27 feet under the garage to 47 feet under the driveway. Past this there is another 10 foot belly just in front of the manhole that is the city’s responsibility to replace. I have quoted Rod again to replace the damaged section of pipe on his property. Rod will review the options and let us know how to proceed. August 27, 2024: Crew arrived to begin demolitions of driveway and prepare for sewer excavation. Using a concrete saw, we cut the length of the trench as locates and removed driveway slabs. The debris is scheduled to be co

Today I came to Diana’s Okotoks home because she is getting quotes for a new central air conditioning system. Upon inspection of the 1134square foot home built in 1996 I found the furnace is original. The home will require a 2 ton ac system and a 60000 btu furnace to properly heat and cool. There is poly b piping throughout the home with no water pressure regulator and no water softener. The water pressure in the home is at 86 psi which is considered damaging. August 08, 2024: Arrived, removed old furnace, then levelled and placed the new furnace. Placed ac coil ontop and then tinned in the new coil to existing plenum. Changed 1/2” black iron gas piping and leak checked. Cored 2-1/2” hole and ran system 636 exhaust pipe. Verified for leaks. Rewired electrical shutoff switch and labelled. Installed new receptacle and switch. Added 3/4 condensate drain line into the condensation system and verified for leaks. Set gas pressure 1.8-3.5 “wc Note*: Customer supplied ecobee thermosta

Today I came to Scott’s Okotoks home because the second floor air conditioning system doesn’t seem to keep up in very hot weather. Upon diagnostics of the 9 year old system I found the compressor, capacitor and contactor are all working well within manufacturers specifications. The outside fan is leaking oil indicating impending failure. The temperate drop was low at only 17 degrees. I tested the refrigerant levels and while I was testing the outside system shut off. I manually restarted the union found the pressures are incredibly high and are causing a safety switch to shut the system down to protect the compressor. I checked inside the outside condensing coil and found it is plugged. This must be cleaned before further diagnostics can be performed. Scott had to leave for a bbq but decided to have the outside coil cleaned while he was away. I have removed the condensing coil fan and housing. I treated the coils with acid coil cleaner, let the cleaners sit for 10 minutes, then rinsed.

Today I came to Carlins Okotoks home because the furnace fan is making a noise again. The blower motor was replaced 1 year ago and there were multiple call outs after the fact because the furnace noise. Each time it was the fan coming loose of the blower motor and was tightened. Today I found the same issue. As a courtesy I tightened the set screw on the fan and tested. The system is working well now however should the problem return, it is no longer under warranty and a new fan will be required.
Today I came to Gary’s Okotoks home to perform the annual family plan ac tune up and inspection. The furnace is 18 years old and the ac system is 15 years old. The water heater that serves the domestic hot water and under slab heating in the basement was just replaced and is working well at this time. Family plan ac tune up and inspection: Upon Ac inspection and service I tested temperature drop, relative humidity, air flow, motor and fan, compressor, capacitor, contactor, evaporator and condensing coils, refrigerant levels, and general system operation. The 18 year old furnace is in fair condition however the exhaust / inducing motor is leaking condensate. The motor and condensate pan should be replaced. The furnace and duct work is very dirty and needs to be cleaned. The inside ac evaporator coil has mold on it and there is no air purification device. The mold can contribute to extensive health issues when breathed in. An air purifier is highly recommended. The external ac system
Today I came to Tyler’s Okotoks home to perform the annual family plan ac tune up and inspection. The furnace is 7 years old and appears in good condition however the condensate trap has been leaking into the furnace and should be replaced. The system (furnace and duct work) is quite dirty and has not been cleaned since 2020. The furnace filter should be replaced every 1-3 months year round. Family plan ac inspection and tune up: Upon Ac inspection and service of the 10 year old system I tested temperature drop, relative humidity, air flow, motor and fan, compressor, capacitor, contactor, evaporator and condensing coils, refrigerant levels, and general system operation. The ac system is in very good condition. The compressor, fan, contactor, and capacitor are all working well within manufacturers Specifications. The refrigerant levels are good. There is no compressor saver hard start kit installed which would extend the life of the compressor. There is no air purifier above the insi
Today I came to Bonitas Okotoks home to perform the annual plumbing inspection of her trailer. Completed plumbing inspection. Flushed water heater as a courtesy service today. All plumbing appears to be in good condition and functioning well currently. Water pressure is sitting at 68 psi.
Today I came to Tyler’s okotoks home to perform the annual plumbing inspection. Client asked about removing the garburator. During the evaluation I have noticed the tankless is due for a flush. 3 toilets are in poor condition, should be repaired or replaced. Garb switch does not work. Ensuite lav faucet is leaking should be replaced - Tyler declined due to price. Softener is missing external bypass. System is missing pressure tank. Kitchen faucet drips from pullout spray. Tyler has decided to go ahead with the tankless flush. Today I have flushed the tankless thoroughly removing the excess sediment build up. The unit is back up and running producing nice hot water. No leaks or issues are present. This was demonstrated to the client. Water pressure is at 70 psi. Balance for the flush has been paid in full. Tyler is happy with the service provided today and would be happy to leave myself with a 5 star google review.
