Today I came to Jackie and Bob’s Springbank Hill home to evaluate the mechanical system after the basement carbon monoxide alarms went off. Upon preliminary investigation of the boiler and 2 furnaces I found multiple issues. I have not done in depth diagnostics at this time and I believe they would show even more problems. The boilers system is working well as it was replaced by Clearview 3 years ago. The boiler drain valve is leaking fluid onto the floor. The boiler air vent is leaking fluid. The boiler exhaust baffle is leaking exhaust and must be replaced. The boiler venting is not seal. The 11 year old furnace has leaking exhaust, leaking inducing/exhaust motor and a leaking condensate pan. The 21 year old furnace has a failing inducing/exhaust motor and leaking condensate pan.
