Today I came to Diane’s Okotoks home becuase the furnace stopped working on Saturday. Diane explained that the furnace stopped working Saturday morning. She turned the power on and off, removed and replaced the thermostat and the furnace has been working ever since. I checked the error code logs and found no error codes. I tested the system and found the flame sensor was reading very low and could have been the cause of the problem. I removed, cleaned, and replaced the sensor. It has a much better reading now. The system is working well at this time. Diane will let us know should the problem return as there is a possibility the thermostat is also an issue.
