I called the customer service and able to get an appointment on the same day to check my air conditioner because it was not turning on. Grant P. came on time. He checked the air conditioner at backyard and went up to the attic to check the furnace. He was able to fix the problem right away and explained to me the problem. I recently diagnosed and repaired a malfunctioning residential central air conditioning system. Using refrigeration gauges, I identified a low refrigerant charge and a minor leak in the suction line. I recovered the existing refrigerant, located and sealed the leak, then recharged the system with the proper type and quantity of R-410A refrigerant. The AC unit is now restored to full cooling capacity.
Today, I conducted a seasonal maintenance check on a Trane XR16 air conditioner. The service included testing system pressures with a manifold gauge, inspecting and tightening electrical connections, and cleaning the evaporator and condenser coils. I also replaced the old air filter with a new HEPA filter to improve air quality and system efficiency.
Today, I repaired a leaking gas line on a rooftop HVAC unit, specifically a Carrier WeatherMaker. The repair involved replacing a section of corroded 1/2-inch black iron pipe and fittings. I tested the system with a manometer to ensure there were no further leaks and applied pipe dope for a secure, leak-proof seal. The unit was then checked for proper operational status.
Today, I performed an AC tune-up on a Rheem Classic Series unit, including changing the standard filters to high-efficiency HEPA filters to improve air quality. I also cleaned the condenser coils and checked refrigerant levels for optimal performance.
Today, I performed a pre-season AC tune-up on a Trane XR14 system. Tasks included flushing the drain line, lubricating the fan motor, and testing capacitor functionality. I also installed a new MERV 13 air filter and verified proper Freon levels for optimal operation during the upcoming warm months.
