Kevin was very professional and friendly. It was important to him that I understood what he was doing. That is greatly appreciated.
An awesome technician who thoroughly went through my system to ensure trouble free operation for the coming cold season. He explained everything he was doing and ensured I understood how I could maintain the equipment and prevent problems.
One of the best technicians we have ever had the pleasure of having!
He is the best technician we have EVER had. We truly feel like he cares about our health issues and always has amazing solutions. Clean air inside is so important and he has been helping us get the best clean air that we can. Having the AC and Heat work at the appropriate time but for us, the inside air quality is actually more important.
Very thorough. Checked the entire system from top to bottom and corrected problems as he found them. Explained everything, both positive and negative.
He listened and really helped us with questions and then put what we wanted into action!
Blue shield club AC maintenance. Joe(JC)R. 08/29/2024 Performed full system evaluation and safety inspection. I arrived to perform the customer’s annual AC maintenance. The customer didn’t have any questions and said that everything was running well. I then washed out the condenser then inspected it. It was running well and without any issues. I then checked the furnace and coil. Both were in good shape and running well. I also left replacement filters for the customer.
Completed dryer vent cleaning for customer. Arrived to job site and spoke with customer, customer has had dryer for about 10 years and never had it cleaned and was interested in getting it cleaned today. After explaining what to expect from a dryer vent cleaning, I answered any additional questions that they had For me. I then went up into attic space, and gave them a proper inspection. Took apart the 4 inch piping and attic space and saw that there was not a lot of lint trapped inside the piping, so I went up on the roof where the Hood was, and there was a lot of trapped condensed lint. After confirming where the issue was, I was given the go ahead to start the cleaning process. Once confirmed, I went up onto the roof and hand picked all the dried condensed lint on the hood and made sure that the lid for the hood was able to close up and down (it was stuck open when I first saw it). I then went into the attic space and cleaned out the hard piping thoroughly with a dryer vent, cleanin
Came out to call for a system not operating properly. Customer stated that the unit has been cooling fine up until yesterday. He was having issues with the system blowing warm air and the thermostat flashing cool, but not kicking the AC on. I checked the system over and found the condensation drain backed up and the float switch tripped. Discussed with customer about what I found and what needed to be done. I was able to blow out drain using installed jones valve, then did an inspection of the air handler and test drain to verify it is now draining properly. Discussed using a pan treatment in coil and customer was not interested. He also stated that he hasn’t received a call for the maintenance he was supposed to have done a couple of months ago. I told him I could take care of it today. I washed condenser coil thoroughly. Inspected the condenser coil, fan motor, compressor, capacitor, contactor, and electrical wiring. Checked system operation, amps, temperatures and pressures of AC. S
No cool. Joe(JC)R. 07/19/2024 I arrived to a call where the customer said that the system made a loud noise and stopped cooling. Upon arriving I full inspected the system and found that the condenser fan capacitor was getting weak. I was unable to find any other issues and everything else seemed to be in good working order. The safeties and pressure switches. I got permission from the customer to replace the capacitor with a mini turbo capacitor. After replacing the part I reinspected the system. The system is running well at this time.
24JUN2024 Jason Brown Arrived for red club summer tune up service. Spoke with homeowner about the systems performance. It’s all working fine. Inspected Airhandler and heat pump. Verified the evap coil is clean, UV is active, and blower motor is operating well. Inspected heat pump. Cleaned out electrical cabinets, tested reversing valve, contactor and capacitor. Washed condenser coils then verified pressures. Pressures came back with 5 degree subcooling. The system calls for 10 degrees. Homeowner asked about Alexa friendly zone control. Inspected zone system, found that in order to setup 3 zones on Alexa our best bet is to replace the zone board and install 3 eco bees at each zone. We decided not to mess with that today. Debriefed with homeowner about systems performance. Work declined: adjust charge.
Alano M. Jake K. 6-17-24 2 system tune up Upon inspection found the systems running up to specifications Furnace fans running up to spec amps Condenser fan run load amps running in range on both outdoors systems and the RLA on compressors running in range Capacitors running in ranges on both sides. Found dead mice inside the electrical cabinet on the contactor but system was running fine at this time. Refrigerant pressures were good and the sub cooling on both systems were in ranges, rinsed the outdoor coils off and left systems in working condition.
Jake K. I arrived to check the parts that we installed. I found one part to have not been replaced. I replaced the contactor and left the system running.
Today I had the pleasure of conducting maintenance on a 6 year old Carrier system. Upon arrival , homeowner stated that the system has been working fine and alerted me that I’m only checking the upstairs unit. I started by verifying system cleanliness. I found the blower assembly and ducts dirty and in need of cleaning but there’s a strong possibility that the downstairs ducting were damaged so he elected to not take a chance on the cleaning. I then verified all amps, temps, and pressures. I found the contactor had some charring and the capacitor was failing. I also found the system inrush (LRA) was out of manufactures specifications. I discussed my findings with the homeowner who agreed to replace the contactor, capacitor, and add a hard start kit. Once new devices were installed, I reverified system performance. All conditions were normal at this time of departure.
Jake K. I arrived for a thermostat not getting power problem after a tune up. I spoke with the home owner and found that they can’t turn the system on because the thermostat is blank. I inspected the system and found the drain line to be stopped up and shutting the system off on a float switch. I cleaned the drain line and found the thermostat to come on and the system to run normally. We also decided to add one surge protector on the outside system and install a compressor savor kit and clean the blower wheel indoors. After all recommended work was completed I tested the system and found it to operate properly.
Jake K. I arrived for a blue club membership no heat call. I spoke with the homeowner and found that the system will not run. I checked the system and found the unit on permit lockout due to the limit switch on the blower motor was tripping. I checked the motor and found that the motor is ,locked up. I let the homeowner know what the first issue is and that it’s about 1/3 of the cost of a heater replacement. We decided to look at the cost of a new heater and compare that to today’s repair. We decided to only go with the diagnostic fee at this time so he can get with his wife and decide to repair or replace this 19 year old furnace.
Completed dryer vent cleaning for the Sommer family. Arrived to jobsite and spoke with Mr.Sommers. He was getting a new dryer and was wanting a dryer vent cleaning since he’s never had it. Performed an inspection and confirmed to Mr.Sommers using via pictures to help him decide to continue with cleaning today. After confirmation, I took apart dryer vent piping and used to dryer vent cleaning brush with hammer drill attachment to clean out the dryer vent and went on top and hand picked dry condensed lint at the top as well before putting everything back and recapping with MrSommers what I did using photos to show. After completing job, I made sure I completed everything before closing out with Mr.Sommers and once confirmed, I packed up all my things and moved onto the next. 04/02/24 -Jeremiah V.
Today I had the pleasure of maintaining a 13 year old carrier heat pump and condenser unit. Upon arrival, the homeowner asked about duct cleaning in regards to if it’s necessary and if it’s possible in his home. I explained that duct cleaning should typically be conducted every 3-5 years and that even though he has floor vents, duct cleaning is possible. He also had concerns with his REME HALO UV light. He wasn’t sure if it was operating and felt he needed to replace the bulb. I verified that the bulb was still illuminated and didn’t need to be replaced. He then asked about the process of rewrapping his return vents in the attic. I explained that we don’t typically rewrap ducts. He remembered that the last technician gave him a quote to replace the return ducts and stated he’d rather do it when he has to replace his system. He then asked if we conducted water tank flushing because another company gave him an estimate for the service but he wasn’t satisfied with the price. I explained t
Today I had the pleasure of conducting maintenance on a 13-year old Lennox heat pump and condenser unit. Upon arrival, the homeowner stated that the system had been working fine. I noticed the home had 4 electrostatic filters and asked the homeowner if she had replacement pads and has replaced filter prior to my arrival Upon visual inspection, I found the blower assembly and ducts dirty and in need of cleaning. I then verified all amps, temps, and pressures. Upon diagnostics, I found the gas valve operating out of manufacturer’s specifications and made adjustments accordingly. After discussing my findings with the homeowner, I recommended blower assembly and duct cleaning. Homeowner would like to think it over before committing. The system is operating to the best of its ability at the time of departure under the current conditions. I took pride in fulfilling your heating and air needs and I appreciate the opportunity to inspect and operate on your system. -Kevin

25JAN2024 Jason Brown Arrived for blue club fall tune up. Spoke with homeowners about the systems performance. It’s working well, we’re just doing the tune up today. Cycled equipment at thermostat. Accessed equipment in the attic. Removed all doors and panels. Inspected coil, motors, heat exchanger and all ductwork. Found blower motor leaking oil. This is likely due to the undersized ductwork. Checked capacitor, heat rise and all amps. Verified gas pressure and tested equipment for monoxide. 0ppm. Button up equipment and spoke with homeowner about my findings. We discussed ductwork, motors, and potential locations for more return air. We found that the home is not equipped with monoxide detectors. I recommended Kiddie plug in style detector. System is heating properly and operating to the best of its abilities at this time.
