Performed a diagnostic visit at an existing customer’s home in Philadelphia, PA 19114, to investigate a constant noise coming from a recently installed HVAC system (August 2024), even when the system was turned off. During the inspection, we identified that the transformer was creating vibration against the metal cabinet, causing the persistent sound; we installed rubber isolation grommets between the transformer and the housing to absorb vibration and eliminate the noise. The system was tested afterward and confirmed to be heating and operating normally, giving the homeowner peace of mind that no components are running unnecessarily or at risk of premature failure.
