Performed a routine heating system check for a new customer in Warminster, PA 18974. The customer had been receiving daily notifications from his Ecobee smart thermostat indicating that his auxiliary heat had been running continuously for over 3 hours, and he was concerned this might indicate inefficiency or higher electric costs. He mentioned limited experience with heating systems and recently purchased the home, so he was unsure of the system’s age or normal operation. During our inspection, we verified the system’s performance, checked all components, and confirmed that the auxiliary heat was operating efficiently in response to colder temperatures. The system is running safely and effectively, providing reliable heat without unnecessary energy usage.
