This morning, I performed routine maintenance on the Trane XR14 outdoor air conditioning unit at the Smith residence. I first inspected the condenser coils and found them to be significantly obstructed by dirt and debris. I carefully cleaned the coils using a commercial coil cleaner and a soft-bristle brush. I also replaced the Filtrete air filter inside the home. The unit is now operating efficiently and the homeowners can expect improved cooling performance.
