Female, adult patient, presented for hygiene periodontal maintenance cleaning and periodontal charting with nitrous. Patient has extreme dental anxiety and sensitivity, but does great with topical and anesthetic. Discussed importance of flossing and/or waterpiking daily.
Dr Greer and I completed a dental procedure on a patient's lower partial denture. I took impressions of the patient's teeth and gums to create a custom-fit denture that would restore their smile. I also discussed the patient's oral health and provided them with instructions for caring for their new denture.
The patient came into the office today to have an extraction. Numbed patient and used elevator, drill, and forceps to pull the tooth. The patient felt great after. Talked with the patient about dental implants to restore that area once that area is healed. Sent home with post-op instructions.
