Professional and Courteous Service!

Our 31 year old house’s sewer line broke in 2 spots at the worst possible locations: 3’ underground beneath a concrete patio and in the house’s foundation. After contacting Spartan Plumbing, Braden came the very next day and diagnosed the problem. In just 1 day, the patio was excavated and the sewer line was repaired. Nate and Taylor did an outstanding job making the repairs. Special thanks to Josh for his expertise running the mini-excavator and Bobcat. For a young business, Spartan Plumbing is on the cutting edge technologically and I highly recommend them!

Alex was called back out due to a leaking toilet, upon arrival it was found that the toilet that had been pulled and reset was leaking once again. The toilet was once again pulled. It was determined that the toilet flange was unlevel and was not reliable. We’re given out to replace the toilet arm as well as the toilet flange. The price was agreed on and the work was begun. The pipe was began to be cut out, when the flange was pulled out it was noticed by Alex that the subfloor underneath the flange was rotted and no longer sturdy enough to mount a flange to. It was discussed with the customer to have technician Mike come out the next day to assess the compromised subfloor. Alex was able to run a part of the piping agreed-upon, including the sink drain. But not the toilet flange. 2/28/23 Alex installed the brand new toilet flange to perfection. The toilet flange is perfectly level, and everything is working great now! Toilet was flushed some odd 10 times to ensure no leaks or any prob

Technicians Mike and Sean responded to a call concerning a leaking 1 1/2 copper drain line underneath the kitchen sink. Mike was out last week to verify for home insurance it was a plumbing related issue. Since then, the company Dry Patrol has removed the wood work cabinetry underneath the kitchen sink, the dishwasher and all water/mold. The water was turned off at the two hot and cold water stops underneath the kitchen sink as well. Upon arrival, the techs met Sam who directed them to the kitchen. It was discovered that a hole had formed in the copper drain line and the drain assembly on the right side of the cross did not go anywhere. It was an open line exposing sewer gas to the home. Sam had also mentioned changing his ice maker line to the refrigerator from copper to a different material so it would not condensate. Multiple options were given over the phone to Sarah. She decided to go with Option A. Mike and Sean then removed the old copper ice maker line and replaced it with a

Technician Mike responded to a call concerning a toilet Spartan installed last year occasionally running longer than it should. Upon arrival Mike met Linda again who directed him to the hallway bathroom. Mike took the lid off the toilet and seen the water level was a bit higher than it needed to be. Mike then adjusted the float to lower the water level and flushed it multiple times to verify it did not keep running. Linda then asked Mike to see why her tub stopper would not work and her lavatory sink stopper would not work in the same bathroom. Mike discovered that the stick to the pop up assembly for the lavatory sink had come off of the attachment underneath. Mike went ahead and reattached it and tightened the nut. The tub/shower stopper works just fine. Linda did not move the lever up enough to create a seal. Linda did say to Mike she does not like oil rubbed bronze trim on the shower or lavatory faucet in this bathroom. Quotes were provided to change the shower trim from oil r

Braden came out and talked to Mariah. We found that there was no water. We ended up finding that our equipment we put in was in good order. A leak was present in the crawl space. The well supply service line had disconnected in the crawlspace causing the no water issue. We installed a new section of poly pipe and fittings with hose clamps. Our Subdrive system we put in noticed this leak and shut the system down. This feathered save the well pump from failing. - Repair the broken section of poly pipe in the crawl space. - Install a new section of 1” poly and connect back to the copper water lines. - We will suit up in order to make this repair. - This includes both trips in the crawl space. 1 year warranty on our repair.

02/07/23 Technician Mike and observer Ashley responded to a call concerning a leaking water line. Upon arrival Mike and Ashley met Todd who explained that the house has been vacant and water was turned back on one week ago. Multiple leaks were found and repaired by Todd’s handyman since water was reintroduced to the home. Todd’s handyman also installed a shark bite ball valve in the crawl space as the main water shut off. The handyman explained that he thinks there are two more leaks but he cannot locate them. He thinks it’s coming from around the water heater and bathroom area but it is not visible on floor level. Mike then entered the crawl space. It is very muddy, water puddles in some spots and metal rods hanging in certain areas. Mike then slightly opened up the main water shut off valve. Water then started dripping down on the other side of the wall hung sewer. The water was then turned back off. You cannot crawl directly to where the leak/leaks are coming from due to hanging

Technician Mike responded to a call about a leaking hose spigot. Upon arrival Mike could see the existing hose spigot on the front of the house had burst and was spraying water all over the ground. Mike asked Tim where the main water shut off was immediately so he can stop the leak. Tim told Mike it’s in the crawl space. Access to it is through a small door on the backside of the house. Mike then turned the water off at the main. No water leaked into the crawl space. Mike then went inside and looked at the water heater. The unit is a few years old and operates fine. Mike did notice that the water connection on the incoming cold line had signs of past leaking but not currently leaking. Tim also has a water softener that he has had unplugged for about 8 years now. Multiple options were given. Mike then replaced the leaking hose spigot with a New Woodford Model 17 hose spigot. The new spigot was mounted firmly to the exterior brick wall and installation tape was put back around the ho

Cliff had us out due to new vanity installed in upstairs master bath. Installed two customer provided mine faucets and p traps in double vanity. Upstairs hall bath had phantom tank fills. Tested tank, replaced flapper ball, and retested tank. Problem solved. Cliff also would like to have a champagne delta touch faucet installed in his kitchen sink. We will be installing a champagne cap for one hole and champagne glass rinser in the next. I had Adam look up prices for specialty items. I will be calling cliff on Monday 1/30/23 with estimate and availability. Cliff also asked me about having a toilet flange and toilet installed in the basement. Currently roughed in. Will have that discussion on Monday as well.

Tonya called us out in interest of looking at her water heater and to reap lace the water softener. We recommend to have the water tested before any equipment is offered. We found a bad thermostat on the bottom of the tank. We will need to replace that said part. We also noticed some aging and defective parts on the well tank. We have the water sample and once our results come back we will get back to Tonya for quotes on water quality equipment. - Repair the failed bottom thermostat on your water heater. - Install new components for your well tank such as a new switch, pressure gauge, and drain valve. - Add a relief valve to your system. 1 year warranty. No warranty on the well tank. - Chlorinate your well system and send off the tests to a lab. - This will determine what is needed to make your water pure again.
