Today I came to Dean’s Sienna Hills home because the ac system is not working. The system was installed 2 days ago. Upon inspection I found the the system was locked out on the low pressure sensor. I attempted to add refrigerant but this did not solve the issue. Upon further inspection I found there is a massive restriction in the refrigerant flow. I checked the tx valve and found its temper turn bulb was not insulated. This is supposed to be done at the factory however the installer missed it. I took the duct work apart and insulated the bulb then tested the system again with the same results. The next step is to replace the tx valve. Should the problem persist, the compressor will need to be replaced. While finishing my diagnostics of the ac system I saw the furnace venting is incorrect. It needs to terminate a minimum of 3 feet away from any opening window and in this case it terminates much closer than 3 feet from 2 windows. Clearview is scheduled to return Monday June 23 to perfor
