Today I came to Rodrigo’s Seton condo because the duct less split ac system is working but is leaking condensate onto the floor. Upon diagnostics I removed the cover and pulled the unit off the wall to find the drain. On inspection of the drain from the unit itself I found it is clear and draining well. The field install tubing was installed poorly and has multiple kinks in it causing the drain to be useless. When the ac runs the drain driers not allow flow and it overflows onto the floor. Because the existing drain was run in the exterior wall, it will be incredible difficult to run a new drain in the same location. The best bet is to core a new hole through the wall and run a new drain surface mounted on the outside wall. We could try to cut into the drywall below the system and see if there is a good piece of pipe we could connect to the ac drain however that can only be determined once the drywall has been cut. Rodrigo will contact the condo board to see of he can core a new hole f
