Today I came to Rona’s Priddis area home becuase the furnace stopped working. Rona and Kevin explained they recently had a duct cleaner out to clean the system and he explained there were some loose wires in the furnace. Upon inspection I found the loos wires are for a relay attached to a transformer that currently serves no purpose. Upon further inspection I found the control board fuse was blown. This more than likely happened during the duct cleaning. Typically when you remove the bottom door of the furnace a safety power switch shuts off the power to the furnace. In this case the safety switch has been disconnected and there is constant power to the furnace even with the door off. A duct cleaner would have assumed the power was off when the furnace door was off. With the power on, it would be very easy to blow the fuse during a cleaning. Once I replaced the fuse the furnace fired right up. I can not determine of there are any other issues with the furnace without performing a full
