Tech came out to perform heating maintenance inspection. Tech tested the heating system: checked gas pressure, temperature, exhaust fan amperage test, blower motor amperage test, flame rectification sensor test, exhaust fan vacuum test. Overall, furnace is in good condition. The furnace is estimated to be 5 to 6 years old. Tech noted a few issues one the chimney is 5 inch size and only serving a single atmospheric hot water tank. There appears to be no chimney liner and should be one as per code to prevent condensation within the chimney as well as have proper ventilation for combustion gases to leave the home. The second was the exhaust motor on the furnace as well past the amperage rating and is extremely hot. This is due to the flu collar drain lines clogged with plastic debris from the venting during install. tech cleared this debris however, permanent and irreversible damage is already been done to the exhaust motor.
