Today I came to Joe’s Sherwood home becuase the furnace has not been working properly. Joe explained that recently the flame roll out switch had been tripping on the furnace. He thought the duct work and furnace filter were the cause of the problem. Joe had the filter replaced and the duct work cleaned but the problem persisted. Joes believes the furnace just needs sone maintenance to get it up and running. I explained to Joe that the roll out switches trip for a specific reason and in this model of furnace the reason is usually a failed secondary heat exchanger. Joe still wanted the tune up performed. Furnace tune up: Upon tune up and inspection of the 15 year old system I tested and adjusted the gas valve, burners, gas pressure and temperature rise. Pulled and cleaned the flame sensor. Tested ignition system, inducing motor and assembly, blower motor and assembly, heat exchanger, humidifier, static pressures, tested and tightened all electrical connections, all safety switches and
