Tech came out to perform heating maintenance inspection. Tech tested the heating system: checked gas pressure, temperature, exhaust fan amperage test, blower motor amperage test, flame rectification sensor test, exhaust fan vacuum test and a combustion analysis. Tech found the furnace is about 14 years old single stage furnace. The ignition system is starting to fail as well as the exhaust motor. Tech made a few options. Client went with a new furnace scheduled to be installed Monday 24th Client also asked to have tankless flushed. Tech quoted work and client approved. Tech flushed tankless water heater with descaling solution. Tested tankless system and its heating better however tech found the system is starting to show signs of failing. Tech informed client. Client will hold off on the tankless for now Furnace is scheduled for Monday 24th 50% deposit taken.
