Today I came to Jaswinder’s new home in Cornerstone to evaluate the hvac and plumbing after the home inspector pointed out some areas of concern. The home is from 2020 and appears in good condition. The main floor furnace has a leaking condensate pan and inducing motor.these must be replaced to permanently fix the leak. Both furnaces and duct work are extremely dirty. The HRV’s need to be cleaned. The instructions for this are on the units themselves. The process takes just over 3 hours to complete. The basement washing machine is leaking. I have checked the supply water lines and can not see any leaks. The leak is from the washing machine itself and an appliance repair company will be required. The external hose bib connection needs to be properly secured to the home. For maintenance, the furnaces need to be serviced every year. The water heater needs to be flushed every year. There is no water softener in the home which causes damage to all the plumbing over time.
