Today I came to Doug’s silver springs home because the home is for sale and the new owners want the sewer fixed as a condition of sale. The line is partially collapsed and has extreme root intrusions. Doug has explained that he has 2 other companies that say they can patch this section with a liner for either $2500 or $5000. After looking at the partially collapsed section I have declined to attempt a liner patch as the condition of the pipe is too far gone to allow a proper patch. I have suggested an excavation however as Doug is selling the home, he wants to keep costs down. Doug will discuss the problem with the buyers and should they choose a permanent excavation option, he will call me for a quote.
