Today I came to Jitka’s Bearspaw home because there is once again, no hot water. Upon inspection I found the same error saying ignition retries. This means the boiler failed to ignite. The control board, ignition module, igniter, gas valve and gas valve cable have all been replaced as per tech support. The system initializes, spark igniter sparks, gas flows and no ignition. I once again took the boiler apart and checked the seals, refractory plates, burner and heat exchanger. The system is in good condition but will not fire. I triple checked the setting for air gas mix and set it according to manufacturers specifications. After many attempts I was able to get the boiler fired up and running, Jitka now has hot water however I do not know for how long. I am scheduled to return Monday with the combustion analyzer to check that the air gas mixture is correct. The manufacturer specifies the air opening for this model boiler be 9 turns open. I was only able to get it to fire consistently
