Furnace install. Arrived on site and removed old unit. Original to the house, installed well. Placed, leveled and graded new unit and reused old filter rack. Made new tin, deleted old humidifier and patched those holes. Decided to put venting out where the tankless terminated in order to keep them all together. Cored my own hole and used 10 ft of 3” pipe (single pipe as there is a fresh air pot). Re used high voltage, adapted to gas drop, and hooked up low voltage. Changed t stat, added co detectors on main level and upstairs(basement not finished). Ran condensate to floor drain directly in front of unit. Terminated with a drainage T and added one to the tankless as it’s within4 ft to property line. Went on roof and re siliconed rain cap. Was not sealed at the bottom at all, but looks like the design would let water in. Sealed the bottom of the chimney with a 6” cap and clear silicone. Test fired, set pressures, temps were good, cleaned up.
