Client called us back today due to concerns of the thermostat not working. Thermostat is currently reading 19.5°C. Tech grabbed a separate temperature probe to try and gauge the accuracy of the thermostat temperature after 10:15 minutes of the temperature probe settling it reached 19.8° C inform client this is well within normal differential of the thermostat After discussing with the client, there is potential lack of insulation either in the walls or a poor window quality tech also noted. There is a lot of supply air vents in the immediate area of the thermostat which can cause it to reach temperature faster. After discussing with the client tech closed the back supply air vent by the back door, closest to the thermostat and the one in the main floor bathroom, which is also sharing a wall with the thermostat Tech advised trying this first as the thermostat could be getting tricked, thinking it’s warmer in the room and the home then it actually is due to too many supply vents in th
