I recently diagnosed and repaired a malfunctioning residential central air conditioning system. Using refrigeration gauges, I identified a low refrigerant charge and a minor leak in the suction line. I recovered the existing refrigerant, located and sealed the leak, then recharged the system with the proper type and quantity of R-410A refrigerant. The AC unit is now restored to full cooling capacity.
