Truly Excellent Service! We had a lot going on, stemming from a flood in our basement and two aged toilets that needed replacing. As in past experiences with Summers Quality Services ("SQS"), we didn't think twice about enlisting their help, and they rose to the occasion as usual! They responded promptly, evaluated the situations expertly, offered some great ideas for remedying the problems, stayed in touch regarding orders of fixtures and so forth, and installed everything with knowledgeable and careful workmanship, cleaned up the work sites, and did NOT charge us an arm and a leg. Everyone was wonderful, but we'd like to give a BIG shout-out to Oscar and Vin, who not only did their jobs impeccably but took the time to answer our questions and even explain and demonstrate certain aspects of the job! SQS's personnel -- in the office and in the field -- are high-quality, personable, and very on-the-ball. We wish there were more businesses out there that are run like this! HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I had a Bradford 40-gallon gas water heater installed by Summers in February 2023. When the unit began leaking in Oct–Nov 2025, it was still under manufacturer warranty and qualified for replacement. While the heater itself was covered, I was charged $1,200 in labor alone for the swap-out of their own prior installation. The job took under 2 hours total for two man crew, plus about an hour to heat the tank. No new plumbing layout, no complications. The labor charge felt excessive and not proportional to the work performed. I’ve also had inconsistent experiences with their technicians. Some of their senior staff are excellent, but there seems to be high variability depending on who is dispatched, with newer hires sometimes lacking experience. Additional concerns: • I was charged $340 for a drain snake that was unsuccessful, and I was told they’d consult a master plumber and follow up — no one ever contacted me. • I later hired Zoom Drain, who resolved the issue quickly and at a fraction of the cost. • I paid $420 for a toilet install (labor only) in a powder room where the old toilet was already removed. The job took 45 minutes, the site was clean, but again, the pricing felt high for the scope of work. Overall, while some of their technicians are skilled, I’ve found recent pricing to be very high, follow-up to be inconsistent, and the experience unpredictable depending on who you get. I will be exploring other home maintenance companies going forward.

Erik was great. Was here for the annual preventative maintenance on furnace and walked me through everything he was doing. Even took time to explain concern over burn marks inside. Erik thoroughly explained what cause was and what steps should be taken to prevent a future expensive fix.

I am an HVAC contractor technician, and I recently completed a job that involved installing a furnace location. return air grille and a supply air grille. Additionally, I hang too mini split heads and run communication and supply lines.
Boiler installation, replaced steam boiler.
Installed a heat sync wire on the condensate drain to prevent freezing
I was working as an HVAC contractor and was tasked with changing the location of a return air duct and one supply air duct. I also had to put a line set cover on a 3-ton conventional unit.
