As I arrived, the homeowner met me at the door I walked inside and it was pretty hot. I went outside to the outside condenser. I noticed that it was running, but the condenser fan motor wasn’t. I put my hands on top of the motor and it was extremely hot to touch. I turned off the disconnect stop any further damage to the r 22 system, and I highly highly recommend replacement After installing a new capacitor, the system turned back on. I took amp draws and checked all voltage and connection of the unit. I talked to the homeowner about a maintenance program. He’s going to look at his pamphlets from his other install and give us a call back. The system is on his way out. Homeowner is aware as of today. We do have it up and running.
