I decided to use Total Air for their 20+ years of local business. The services are detailed and complete. I have joined their yearly service program.
My technician, Michael, was vey efficient and friendly.
No! transparency. Of The secret agent or technician that came out my home he was not a personable individual however he did try sell me a motor for 2,0000 and a coil cleaning for 1,000.00. What was interesting while he talked on the phone with his organization in an attempt to get a replacement motor, I moved closer to him to hear what the office person was saying, he immediately walked to the street as if he was a secret agent on a mission, in an attempt to hide or mask what the other person was saying on the phone, which is a tail tail sign in any business of shady practices is a foot “no transparency”. it made me wonder what was being said to cause him to be so adamant of preventing me to hear the conversation. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Also just to come out was 89.99. Most other a/c repair shops charge 69.99-79.99.
The technician who service my AC unit. Today was very competent. He was quick and efficient and very personable. He gave an honest evaluation of my unit and recommended only repairs that were necessary.
Prompt, professional and courteous service. Highly recommend!

Performed tune up on 2 units.Checked all major components: Freon levels compressor , fan motor , capacitor, temperature split, static pressure, rinsed condenser coil, flushed drain line , checked filters . Based on readings capacitor on unit 1 is reading 21 uf out of 40 uf which it should be only 5% less than the rated value . This means that capacitor is going bad and need to be replaced . Other than that everything is operating as designed. Custo, ear agreed to go ahead and replace capacitor
The main supply duct has a hole in the insulation and was dripping into the ceiling. Recommended duct replacement but customer is about to tear down the house because was flooded. Warranty Thermostat New thermostat was installed Flushed drain line Two pure air were installed System are runing and operating at this time
Cold out today because unit wasn’t cooling Upon further evaluation, I found a tiny bit of water in the float switch. I was able to clear the water and clear the drain line. The drain line wasn’t even backed up. It was completely clear and I flushed a bunch of hot water down there to be safe. After I cleared the water, the unit still wouldn’t kick on, and I thought one of the float switches was bad. I bypassed them and the unit still didn’t come on. I managed to get the unit to come back on. I had to replace one of the flow switches because I had cut the wire. I blew a fuse at one point replaced the fuse. Unit is up and operating at this time in the drain line is completely clear.
The condenser pump was leaking water as it was pumping. A new pump was installed and Armaflex was added to the drain line. System runing and operating at this time
The low voltage cable was damaged in the roof and this caused the fuse to blow. The cable was replaced and now everything works fine. System running and operating at this time
All condenser sensors were replaced System running and operating at this time
Completed for maintenance on a split system unit Checked all wiring and components Tested refrigerant levels, and temperature Tested capacitor Tested fan and compressor amps Hose down condenser coil Vacuum and flush condensate line Took temperature splits from supply and return Sprayed coil cleaner on the evaporator coil Checked air handler cabinet cleanliness Checked filter Unit is up and operating at this time Customers disconnect box at the condenser has been bypassed and there’s no way to safely turn off the power without going to the breaker panel. I do recommend getting this fixed as it is a safety concern for tax coming to work on your unit as well as there’s no Safeway to turn the unit off in general if something were to go wrong. Your capacitor is also slightly out of range and could be replaced. I got you signed up on the membership now so we’ll see you again in six months but that will give you the discounted prices on everything
To replace a large section of damaged 5inch flex, a small section of 8inch flex, armaflex on drain line, add blow in insulation, and calibrate refrigerant after all repairs
Upon arrival found the house at 89 degrees. Unit was running but not cooling. Found out unit is low on freon and is leaking from Evap coil. Unit is 8 yrs old and out of warranty and advised customer to get a new unit. They wanted to add some freon for the weekend and they also want to see a comfort advisor tomorrow at 12 pm. Customer is aware that there is no warranty on Freon. Also confirmed with manager Pat that we will discount the money of Freon if customer go ahead with a new system.
