My ac wasnt working , I called first thing in the am and someone was To my house within two hours.
I decided to use Total Air for their 20+ years of local business. The services are detailed and complete. I have joined their yearly service program.
My technician, Michael, was vey efficient and friendly.
No! transparency. Of The secret agent or technician that came out my home he was not a personable individual however he did try sell me a motor for 2,0000 and a coil cleaning for 1,000.00. What was interesting while he talked on the phone with his organization in an attempt to get a replacement motor, I moved closer to him to hear what the office person was saying, he immediately walked to the street as if he was a secret agent on a mission, in an attempt to hide or mask what the other person was saying on the phone, which is a tail tail sign in any business of shady practices is a foot “no transparency”. it made me wonder what was being said to cause him to be so adamant of preventing me to hear the conversation. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Also just to come out was 89.99. Most other a/c repair shops charge 69.99-79.99.
The technician who service my AC unit. Today was very competent. He was quick and efficient and very personable. He gave an honest evaluation of my unit and recommended only repairs that were necessary.
Prompt, professional and courteous service. Highly recommend!
The technician were friendly and and courteous will recommend a company
Both technician was hard working professional. Kind and patiently explain and helping me to understand and know about my new AC system I was very happy and satisfied with their service.
The two mini splits do not have refrigerant, the client said he would replace them
Pioneer mini split I explained to the customer that we don't guarantee the work on this brand. Low Freon, I added a pound of 410. The blower wheel needs to be cleaned because the airflow isn't good. The customer said she'll prepare to replace it in a few months
Everything looks fine here. The house was closed for several days and the temperature was 80 degrees. When they opened it, they wanted the temperature to drop to 70 degrees quickly. I explained to him that it would take time
The blower motor for unit number 2 is faulty. We will call you on Tuesday with the quote and schedule it.
Condenser breaker is bad When the breaker is turned on it makes a noise They will call an electrician for this.
Upon arrival customer said that fan was working but condenser not . After finishing diagnosing found out that yellow wire coming from the thermostat was broken inside air handler and was making contact and wasn’t sending signal to the condenser. Replaced yellow wire with orange wire on the thermostat side and unit started operating.
Replaced blower motor under warranty, started up the unit and blower kicked on. Checked the pressures and noticed that head pressures were high. Found out that condenser coil is plugged. Recommend customer to do a coil cleaning on that unit. Customer said that he don’t want to move on the cleaning and he will try to clean it himself.
Installed drain pump and tested it. Pump is draining .
Discovered some of the flex ductwork condensating that is touching each other in a tight spot in the attic where a lot of flex comes through. Recommend either ductboard or insulation wrap in between the flex where it touches to prevent sweating. Management will be reaching out on pricing and availability.
Upon arrival customer said that unit outside is kicking on but there is no air coming out. Found out that blower motor is bad and need to be replaced . Also noticed that a 5 inch flex is damaged and need to be replaced too. Need to order the blower motor and come back and replaced asap . Customer want to do only the blower motor for now.
Discovered auxiliary pan full of water. Cleared primary drain line and removed water from auxiliary pan. Confirmed, proper operations and refrigerant pressures. Everything operating properly at this time. Recommend replacement soon.
Discovered blown five amp fuse on arrival. Tracked low-voltage short down to the yellow wire coming from the condenser. Replaced yellow with brown and confirmed proper operations.
Arrived on the job and customer had the unit off so I turned it on and the airhandler turned on but the condenser fan motor didn’t run so I checked the capacitor and it was fine so I checked if the motor was locked up and there was a frog wedged between the fan blade and the fan guard. Once I removed the frog the fan started spinning unit is running and cooling good
Connect duct and hang one run under warranty
Replaced batteries in thermostat for homeowner. Thermostat was giving low battery alerts. Discovered some water in SS2 float switch. Discovered sag and drain line in garage. Recommended to run new drain line and or add iflow to system. Eliminated plumbers trap from drain line outside to accommodate for the SAG inside. Verified refrigerant pressure and amp draws are two manufacturer specifications. Confirm 20° temperature split.
