Great tech, great service, great company

Total Air has become my “go-to” company for all of my AC & heating issues. Thank goodness for their great customer service and expertise because finding the “right” company can be difficult. I always feel like I am in good, honest hands and I trust them. These guys were great; professional, knowledgeable and super nice and they explained everything to me. I APPRECIATE THAT!! Good customer service MATTERS and I can always rely on that from the team at Total Air. Plus, their pricing is fair and competitive. 10/10 recommend. Also - shout out to the very nice lady who took my call today and got someone out right away. You’re awesome!

Tech was very nice and knowledgeable.

Horrible service

I had Total Air come out to do a diagnostic on my A/C unit and was quoted $79.00. When the technician arrived he look at both inside and out units and determined it was the condenser and memory board for my air handler. He told me I owed him $159.00. He said the $79.00 was only the trip charge and the diagnostic was separate. I reiterated I was quoted $79.00 he said he would have to talk to his office then only charged the $79.00 ad far as I know. So the quote for the capacitor and control board came to $970.60. So I ran into an A/C guy on one of my job sites and explained what I was told and he said it would be closer to $700 and could even get it lower if he bypassed the control board. He quoted me $385. I agreed and one of his technicians came out and determined there was nothing wrong with either the Control board or capacitor. Instead it was the fuse and wire touching metal that caused it to not work. The bill came in at $279 and works great both heat and cold.

Arrived at the home and met the homeowner. From previous technician, need to replace the thermostat. Removed old Honeywell thermostat and replaced with a new T6 thermostat. Wired in the thermostat, programmed, and tested the equipment. Equipment is operating.

Arrived at the home and tenant explained what has been happening with the equipment. Began to do diagnostics. Needed to thaw condenser coil. Checked refrigerant charge and found low. Spoke with the homeowner and he opted to just add refrigerant for now. If it freezes again, he will want to do a leak check. Homeowner agreed to add refrigerant. Equipment is heating. Jug #346, 3 pounds was used

Arrived on site customer explained that she was concerned about smoke detectors coming on when heat came on. Explained to customer that is just dust burning off the heating coils. Heat is coming out at 94 degrees. Customer is selling condo this week in not interested in purchasing a new unit at this time. Was able to model and serial of air handler but not sure of the brand. Couldn’t get on roof due to raining.
