What makes Total Air standout from others? The technical skills of their technicians are outstanding. Other companies might say their trained and skilled, but they are not. I was very upset with the last company who serviced my AC. Total air is a one company I will recommend to anyone looking for service or a new AC unit..
Moved to Florida 6 years ago and have gone from one HVAC company to another. A friend referred me to Total Air, and I am very impressed. Just wish I found this company 6 years ago. They are great and I my searching around for a good HVAC company is complete.

My AC failed this morning. I called Total Air for service and Wade Hepp arrived around 3:30 this afternoon and quickly traced down some complicated electrical problems both in the Air Handler and on the compressor. Wade had the parts needed on his truck and got everything back running. Wade was extremely courteous and considerate. He even put covers over his shoes when he entered my home. Thank you Wade for the fast and courteous service!
Was very informative

As usual Jason displayed great customer service! Arrived on time and had a mask. No complaints here. I don't want to say too much as I know it will go to his head. Also, I didn't get his name but his assistant was exceptional as well.

Arrived at customers house for system not cooling. On arrival. Customer show me upstairs to air handler unit. Opened off air handler unit and inside was extremely dirty. All filters are impacted. Turned on unit at thermostat. Condenser turned on but air handler fan did not. this unit is in our 22 system from 2008. Informed customer they would need a new fan motor. Due to age of unit. I suggested customers get consultation for a new unit. Customers agree. Getting consultation out here tonight. Will track down, a new fan to also get pricing for that. Unit is out of warranty date. Collected payment and signatures for today’s work and left. Thank you for choosing Totoal air.
Performed maintenance tune to include inspecting the indoor and outdoor coils, inspected all electrical connections, checked refrigerant level, flushed drain lines. I recommended for the customer to to have the coil and blower motor pull and clean and pure air UV system. Customer agreed to move forward with the recommended repair.
Customer concerned about unit not cooling properly. Checked condenser unit and checked refrigerant pressure. Located the system has no refrigerant pressure. Unit is leaking refrigerant for the system. Needs a leak search on system to locate leak in the system. Customer has approved for leak search and refrigerant added. Customer has approved for taps membership. Located the leak on line set. Tighten line set for garage air handler unit. checked for leaks on line set and tighten line set cover. Pumped down and evacuate to system to 500 microns with vacuum pump. Added 7 lb refrigerant to the mini split unit. Checked unit operation and unit is cooling properly and running well.
Completed maintenance. Checked pressures, amp draw and capacitance. Capacitor is within range. Amp draw on compressor is very high. Also found system to be a little bit low on refrigerant. It is AR 22 Straight cool. Vertical AH. Foam cleaned evaporator coil and rinsed with hot water. Also cleaned out primary pan and drain line. Filter was sucked into photo return and very dirty. Underneath of evaporator coil is a little dusty most likely due to poor filtering. System is cooling to the best of its ability. There is evidence of a leak based on the pressures. Suggestion would be to replace the system not to repair it. This is for A Comfort Advisor to come out and give a free estimate on system replacement.
Customer concerned about unit not cooling properly. Checked blower motor operation and inspected equipment cabinet. Checked thermostat calibration and filter location. Checked condenser unit start ups components and located the run capacitor is bad and needs to be replaced. Customer has approved for taps membership and new turbo capacitor. Replace capacitor and checked unit operation. Unit is cooling well and running properly. Gave customer new membership folder and sun shades. Thank you for choosing Total air.
I returned to replace evaporator coil drain pan. I also cleared out drain line.
Upon arrival customer told me AC was not working. The air handler will come on but outside would not. I found a bad contactor that was broken and pitted. Replaced the contactor and you came right on. Restored ac to home
Drain pan has a crack and is draining water from the bottom side of the unit. Drain pan needs to be replace.
Upon arrival to scheduled system maintenance I was shown to an A/H unit located horizontally in the garage. Immediately pulled off panel doors to inspect all electrical components connections, collect electrical readings and check the evaporator coil for cleanliness. Evaporator coil is clean but very rusted. Pictures uploaded to ST. All electrical components connections are secure and all readings are fully within range of factory specifications. Collected temperature differential at the air handler and had a 20° split temperature in the cooling mode. This system is equipped with 2 different types of UV light systems that are both needing replacements at this time. Spoke to the homeowner about the benefits of replacing the bulbs and he agreed and moved forward with quoted work. Went outside to the C/air to verify the systems refrigerant charge, inspect all electrical components connections, collect amp draw/voltage readings off the equipment. Clear the condensate drain line and
Upon arrival customer told me package unit was turning on but not blowing cold air. Found the capacitor bad on the compressor side and that’s why it was not blowing cold air replace the 70/5 capacitor with a turbo 200. System is cooling home now. Signed customer up for maintenance program
Upon arrival customer told me the upstairs AC was leaking water. They turned off the AC and the water stopped leaking. Found the condensate drain clogged you shop vac water and solvent to clear drain restored AC to home. This is under warranty because we were just out two months ago for maintenance. Customer renewed his maintenance contract
Called out today due to no cooling. Upon arrival system was running but not cooling properly. Checked refrigerant pressures and found the system low on r22 refrigerant. Clients are aware that r22 is no longer manufactured as of January 1st 2020. Clients would like to replace the system. We will have a comfort advisor out Monday morning with options for replacement. Thank you for always choosing Total Air! Comfort advisor
Upon arrival system was on and cooling. But customer had stated that while the house was being shown the system was not cooling and achieving temperature. Upon further inspection of the package unit on the roof of this apartment/condo, I found burnt and pitted contactor and a 35+5 capacitor that was out of range. There was also one burn wire going from the contactor to the capacitor. I brought my findings to the homeowner and suggested that these are the parts that needed to be immediately replaced. Pressures on this R 22 system indicate there are no leaks or restrictions. Customer excepted her the estimate to have the contactor and capacitor replaced. I also talked to her about the benefits of the maintenance plan and she accepted that as well. I sent everything via email including pictures. Homeowner is selling this property.
