Got called out because unit wasn’t blowing cold air Upon arrival the units suction line was completely frozen from air handler to condenser. We will need to come back later today after it thaws out Came back and everything was thawed out. Refrigerant levels were very low. Suction line was at 100 psi so it was causing that refrigerant line to freeze up. With that low of a pressure there’s gotta be a leak in the evaporator coil. With this kind of unit it’s gonna be really hard to find parts for it. And with this old of a unit you are much better off replacing the unit to get a new one under warranty. It’s not worth it paying 4 grand on a 12 year old unit. Chris is on the way to give you an estimate.
