I recently completed a job for a patient who had a tooth with bone loss, a 7-8 mm pocket, and a bifurcation. The prognosis for this tooth is poor, and the patient was advised to use a waterpik and be on a 3-month recall. The patient may need additional treatment in the future, but we will keep an eye on it for now. The patient scheduled a bridge appointment for 2-4, and we will make an in-house shade A2 for them. The shade is a little light, but it's the closest block we have. The patient knows that if they're not happy with it, we will remake it at no charge.
