Inspected electrical system following Home Depot dishwasher installation that resulted in non-functioning disposal. Discovered customer's water line installation had penetrated electrical conduit, damaging wires that power both disposal and dishwasher. Scheduled return visit to install waterproof junction box, run new conduit with appropriate wiring for switches and outlets, replace dishwasher wiring, and reinstall dishwasher. Temporarily disabled circuit breaker to prevent electrical hazards.
