Customer called because of a “burning smell” coming from laundry. Upon troubleshooting, we found a severely burnt dryer outlet. This is a fire hazard and should be handled by a licensed professional immediately. We supplied a new dryer outlet and a new breaker. Customer was very relieved to have gotten this hidden problem taken care of!
came out as an emergency call to check on a customer’s HVAC system that wasn’t functioning properly and they thought it was an electrical issue. The disconnect for both the condenser and the heat unit had power, andwere also putting out power, 240V to be exact. it seemed like the condenser had an issue, the wires landed on a contactor, and the contactor wasn’t pulling in like it was supposed to. I told the customer to have an HVAC technician check if any of the relays or modules had to be replaced
Tiffany called us because she lost power to most parts of her home. Royal Electric inspected all panels to check for any issues. Upon inspection, we found that her house wasn’t getting sufficient power from the transformer. Duke energy was then called to come perform necessary repairs on the transformer. ⚡️
Just got done installing this motion detection flood light for Mr. Boyd. He wanted to add some lighting on the left side of this house because of how dark the trees made it. We ran a new line off an existing circuit and got his light install in no time! ⚡️😁
