This resulted in water damage on the ceiling of the kitchen/living room area. After arriving to the home and speaking with the customer, I learned that the toilet clogged after having been used, and that the customer stepped away to let it sit for a minute before plunging it. In that time, the toilet’s flapper did not seal, causing the fill valve to run constantly and dump water into the bowl of the toilet… since the bowl was clogged, the excess water was not able to drain, and began flowing out of the bowl and onto the floor. Once the customer noticed water coming from the ceiling, he quick

Install new sewer line from the tank to the home Install new risers on the tank Install new filter T November 17th 2022 - Arrived today replace the sewer line from the septic tank to the foundation of the home. I began by making the homeowner aware of the work we would be conducting. When we arrived, the tank lids were already exposed. The lids are about 12” below the surface of the ground. We started by digging at the inlet portion of the tank, and tracing the main sewer line back to the home. The sewer line was about 2’ to 2-1/2’ in the ground, it runs towards the home, and turns slightly right and during this it converts from pvc to cast iron. In this portion, it was visually clear a belly/low point was formed, which caused slow draining and back ups. The line continued then comes back perpendicular to the home and runs close to the gas meter. We trenched up to about a foot away from the gas meter, we exposed the surface of the drain lines. We then began to cut out sections of t

I asked the homeowner questions along the way, and we discussed options for small repairs throughout the home. I then performed the water heater flush, and went through the crawlspace to check over the drain and water piping underneath. Overall, the plumbing is in good health. The main issues right now are that the downstairs toilet is in need of a rebuild, and all of the shut off valves in the home are stiff. Some of them turn, and some of them do not, but they could all stand to be replaced. Lastly, there is a hose bib on the rear of the house that was not attached correctly, and the customer asked about replacement options. I provided several quotes for the is
