Upon inspection, the evaporator coil was found to be significantly dirty, which can affect the efficiency and performance of the system. Additionally, the blower wheel panel inside the return air duct, adjacent to the evaporator coil, was completely unsecured. This unsecured panel allowed outside air to enter the system, compromising indoor air quality and potentially leading to further complications. I carefully cleaned the dirty evaporator coil, ensuring all debris and buildup were removed. Subsequently, I secured the blower wheel panel, preventing any unwanted outside air from entering the system. These actions will enhance the system's efficiency and maintain optimal indoor air quality.
