Called out today due to no cooling again. We were out recently and added a few pounds of refrigerant. Due to us not explaining or offering to perform a leak search… I recharged the system today at no cost. Client is fully aware that the refrigeration system is a closed loop. You should never need to add refrigerant. When you have to add that means we’re leaking at some point. Gave options for sealant and dye/sniffer search. We will be back next Tuesday to perform a leak search. Client is aware of the age and potential cost of fixing this leak. He will most likely be leaning towards replacement when we pinpoint leak. Both systems are the same age and he was wondering if we replaced both if we could come down on price. System is now cooling and will hopefully last until Tuesday when we return.
