I was called to a home in Tucson, Arizona, to repair two split Rheem heat pumps. The first unit was a 2-ton unit that was not cooling properly. I found that the unit was low on refrigerant and had a faulty compressor. I replaced the compressor and recharged the system with the correct amount of refrigerant. The second unit was a 3-ton unit that was not producing any heat. I found that the unit had a faulty blower motor. I replaced the blower motor and the unit was working properly again.
