A/C Installation

The installation went as planned. Two days in the hot attic and yard were extreme for the technicians. They did not complain, were courteous and respectful.

Will never use this company again!

First off, Jeromy was great and answered all of my questions. He was polite and courteous and patient. He tried helping out as much as he could- he was only doing what he was told to do and I understand that. However, I have an ac unit about 2 years old, the parts are under warranty for 5 years. I was told by my home builder that I would not have to pay for parts as they are covered by the manufacturer. Basically Bradbury brothers takes the part to the manufacturer and gets paid for the part. After taking a day off of work, having your technician come out and clarifying how this all should work between Beazer homes. I was told that they could not fix my AC until the following afternoon, they could not use their parts. I had someone available from the manufacturer that could verify the warranty on the parts- but they refused to help. Beazer homes suggested that Bradbury brothers could put one of their parts on to help out my family for one day, once they get the part, they could switch it out however they needed. ( the technician had to come out the next day anyway and said it would 30 minutes to put it on). After having the technician call to ask- Bradbury brothers refused. I’m left in my home with my 2 kids miserable without sufficient AC and 100 degree heat index outside. I will never use this company ever again, I will post this same exact review on my neighborhood Facebook page which also includes 2 other adjoining subdivisions, and along with any other review sites this company relies on. This wouldn’t have costs Bradbury brothers a single dime, no one was asking for discounts, or comps... just to help out my family and get the part installed a day earlier since the technician was right there to do the job. They don’t care about their customers or believe in just going the extra mile for anyone , they wouldn’t make an exception and just had their technician say sorry and leave. All they care about is how much money they can collect at the time. If it’s not worth it.. who cares. Worst company I’ve ever dealt with. The only reason I have to have them come back out to install the part, is because I cannot afford to pay another service fee for a different AC company. Until then, my family will be in a home that’s currently 90 degrees inside. I’m appalled and Bradbury brothers should feel Ashamed.

Poor communication everywhere

Bradbury Brothers installed a new system for me in 2015. During a 2018 tune-up, the technician noted the refrigerant was low and added some per the 2018 invoice. Wanting to address any refrigerant leak issue before my parts and labor warranty expires in 2020, I set up an appointment for today to see if there was a slow leak, and to get an external temperature sensor error fixed. There was very poor communication between the dispatcher and technician because the technician knew nothing of my primary concern about the leaking refrigerant and thought the only issue was the temp sensor. There was also poor communication between technicians with our account because the tech today incorrectly said there was nothing in prior invoices about the added refrigerant. While no leak was found in the evap or cond coils today, I'm still puzzled why refrigerant previously needed to be added. Because the refrigerant issue wasn't communicated and today was too cool for a pressure test per the technician, I will need to schedule another appointment to find out where a leak in the system may be. I'm extremely disappointed in these communication failures.

Owner

The service is always good After the plumbing inspection however I was left with a question. Why didnt he flush a toilet? I have three! It seems like that would be part of the plumbing inspection?

Arrived to the Bogans residence to give them an estimate on repairing a light. After presenting the estimates they chose not to do anything at this time. I do not see a reason to do a follow call.

Arrived to check 3 outdoor hosebibs leaking. Found to be leaking from packing nut, tighten all 3 packing nuts and they are no longer leaking. Checked ice maker valve and washing machine valves will not turn. Replaced soldered on ice maker valve with new compression valve and supply line. Replaced 2 washer valves, did not hook up washer as new one is being delivered tomorrow. Noticed gas valve was off upon arrival, customer took apart to clean and smelled gas when he put it back together. Reconnect gas to dryer and tested gas lines for leaks.

I informed customer I’d recommend installing a blowout valve to flush and clear drain lines, but informed if issue happens again clog might be at stack and plumber may be needed, also unit is 5yrs old and no maintenance ever since installed, recommended comfort club customer signed up for yearly membership. customer approved install

Customer stated he noticed the uv cell led not on. Checked air scrubber found uv cell bad, replaced ozone cell under warranty. Tested for proper operations made sure air scrubber was on properly and made sure unit was properly operational, customer didn’t want for me to check refrigerant pressures and unit has been cooling properly. Unit was on properly before departure. Recommended sanuvox to complete IAQ package and keep evaporator coil sterilized. Customer declined recommendations at this moment.

Arrived to the Callahan residence to walk the kitchen remodel project. After walking the project I’ll let Mr. Callahan know that we will get him a number as soon as possible. At this point there’s no reason for a follow-up call until we have an estimate.
