Emergency service call for no cooling during 98° day. Found system completely frozen up. Defrosted system and discovered severely clogged air filter causing airflow restriction. Replaced filter and cleaned condensate drain line which was also clogged. Checked refrigerant levels after system stabilized - pressure normal. Educated homeowner on importance of monthly filter changes especially with multiple pets. System now cooling properly with 17° temperature differential.
