I am a skilled professional that works for a Sheldon's Heating & Air Conditioning company. I received a call from a customer who reported that the indoor motor was running, but the unit was not cooling. I arrived at the customer's home and used a scissor lift to access the roof. Once on the roof, I performed a diagnostic and found that the contact relay was burnt and not closing. I bypassed the contact to see if the motor would come on, and it did. However, I noticed that another contact relay was also getting stuck. The customer approved to replace both of them. I removed the old contacts and installed the new ones, making sure they were securely wired. I had the customer turn on the unit from the thermostat and check its operation. The unit was working at this time.
