I was dispatched to a customer's home to perform a tune-up on their Goodman gas furnace. The unit had been running for a while without any issues, but the customer noticed that it was making a noise when turned on. Upon inspection, I found that the blower motor was making a slight squeal. I replaced the motor and the unit was back to normal. The customer was happy with the service and thanked me for my help.
Performed maintenance for this customer. Which included: Cycled cooling at the thermostat. Recorded temperature splits. Wiped down the return grilles. Verified there were clean filters in place. Tested the starter for the compressor/fan motor, which is within spec. Performed amp draws on all motor motors. Washed the condenser coil. Tightened all electrical connections. Inspected the ductwork/insulation level. Verified the drain line was flowing properly. Customer was very happy with our services.
I am a highly skilled and experienced home service professional. I received a call from Portia Baker, who requested an appointment for her mother, Mary, for a faulty air conditioner unit in her backyard. The unit was approximately five years old and was not cooling. I scheduled the appointment for August 15th at 8:00 AM. Upon arrival, I found that the unit was not cooling due to a faulty compressor. I replaced the compressor and tested the unit to ensure it was functioning properly. The family was pleased with the service and expressed gratitude for the quick and efficient repair. I also noticed that the unit had two units, but only one was not working. I inspected the unit and found that the wiring was damaged, causing the compressor to fail.
