I was called to inspect a residential air conditioning unit that was not cooling the home. After inspection, I found that the condenser unit's compressor had gone into a thermal overload due to the condenser fan motor not turning on. I diagnosed the issue and replaced the start assist and compressor hard start assist, which helped the compressor start up more efficiently and improve its performance. The customer approved the estimate and the repair was completed.
