Arrived for a no cool call. On arrival customers showed me to air handler unit. Saw condensate backflowing. Went down to condenser and found suction line extremely hot. Compressor was also hot. Melted insulation bag around it.. Hooked up gages and suction side was very high. Compressor not properly flowing free on. Suggests for customers to get consultation and customers agree. Customers also have a second unit that is not in the best condition. Would like consultation to get that changed as well. Signed customers up for taps plan. Collected payment and signature and left. Customers happy.

System popping the the breaker as soon as it comes on. This was the breaker that feeds the air handler. I found this to be due to the disconnect failing and melting together so we changed it out. I tested the system while taking amp draw reading on the whole air handler as well as the motor and heaters in both heat and cool mode. All readings looked good it is unclear what may have caused the disconnect to fail, it seems it may have just been defective. Customer has signed up for the TAPS Annual Membership. Repairs are now complete system is currently operating correctly.

Mini split in computer room not draining. After vaccuum and clearing, system still would not drain. Disassembled head and attempted to clean pan and entire unit. After disassembling I found drain line going uphill orver electrical whip through the wall. No room to relocate drain line. Home owner wants to replace the unit instead of reinstalling. Set appt for Corey to come.and quote a new unit.

Upon arrival customer told me mini split was leaking. I used a shop vac and sucked the drain line out. It still backed up. I pulled the cover off outside and it was disconnected. I connected the pipe and blew water out. Cleared the drain.
