Replaced exterior pull station, installed new conduit and a weather proof cover over the pull station.
I made an appointment a while back to do the inspection & hydrotest of the kitchen fire suppression system. I arrived and inspected everything for additional issues then when I found there were none I proceeded to tear down the system. I removed the cylinder that needed to be hydrotested. I replaced it with a newly hydrotested bottle and then put the new fusible links, caps and other parts needed to make the system work. I then tested it for functionality. Everything worked so I wrote the report and headed to check on the Kitchen Exhaust duct. I did a full inspection of this and wrote the report. I then did the annual fire extinguisher inspections. The system is good; the exhaust is good and the fire extinguishers are good. I let them know when thier next service will be due and that I would call ahead of schedule.
Fire suppression system service of the Ansul System. I arrived on site and surveyed the system and equipment. I then tore it down and replaced the disposable parts. I then put it back together and tested the system. I wrote a report and let the customer know.
I scheduled an appointment to service the onboard Sapphire System on this boat. I also scheduled to do their fire extinguishers. I decided to bring my operations manager along with me and so he could see what this was all about. The job went very well and we serviced everything the customer wanted. We wrote a report and went to the next appointment.
Customer called and needed to purchase a new fire extinguisher. I showed up with a 2.5lb, 5lb and 10lb and they chose which one they wanted and I encouraged them to purchase the correct size. They ended up with a 5lb ABC fire extinguisher great for most circumstances.
