Nick, Thank you for making this happen and extending a reduced rate. We really appreciate it. Best Regards, Janet
Nick was able add us to his schedule and get to our facility in time, before the machine was delivered to the customer. We really appreciate the effort and look forward to doing business with him again.
Nick was tremendous to work with. He was professional, responsive to my needs, and communicated greatly throughout the entire process. I look forward to working with Nick and the C&S team in the future.
Outstanding knowledge, ability, and professionalism. With have worked with some other companies in the past but now we have the certified professionals we need to get the job done. When they say they are going to be there, they are and they know what they are doing. They cost a little more than others we have used but in my mind, this is money well spent.
We have been using C&S Fire Safe Service to help train our tech on hood suppression systems. Their technician Earl Penland has been absolutely amazing with us and I have not had a single complaint from any of our customers that he has worked on. Although we are a competitor of theirs in the Portland market I can still honestly say that anybody that chooses to use this company for the many services they offer is going to be happy with their service and work. We will continue using them going forward for certain jobs. and if you are looking at this company I honestly urge you to give them a call and speak with them. Way to go C&S Fire Safe Services and Earl!
Response from C & S Fire-Safe Services LLC:
Thank you for that review Aaron. We love to hear that. Thank you Earl!!!
We have been using C&S Fire Safe Services to assist our company with some services for about 9 months now and they have gone above and beyond in everything they do. Their technician Earl Penland has been great to work with and really knows his stuff, and has trained our technician the entire time so that we can handle alot of our jobs ourselves and I think we are better for it. Due to how they great they are in treating our customers with respect and for training my technician we are going to go ahead and keep them on as a backup and to continue offering services that we cannot do or are out of our service area. I would never hesitate to recommend this company. Thanks Earl for all your hard work and thanks Steve for letting us continue to work together with your company!
Does a professional job. Thorough and complete.
The crew arrived on time, as per usual. Unfortunately they did not clean the hood grates, they just piled them up in the dish pit for my dishwasher to clean. The hoods on the insides of the vent were clean but every other surface was still filthy. They clean the exterior of the hood in the back of the kitchen but not the one in the front. When my breakfast cook arrived at 5.30am he walked into 2 cleaners sitting on our prep table while 1 was “cleaning up”. I put it that way because they knocked a lot of debri into the floor that remained on the floor after they left. I have get my hoods cleaned by this company every 6 months and this is the first time I felt like they halfassed the job.
Response from C & S Fire-Safe Services LLC:
I am sorry that we didn't meet your expectations. I would appreciate a chance to meet to go over where we fell down so we can rectify this to your satisfaction. Hope to meet soon at your convenience. Steve
Arrived on site to do the prescheduled Fire Suppression system service and the Kitchen Exhaust system inspection. I changed the links and some of the nozzle caps on the fire system. I looked into the duct, did a grease test for the amount of buildup it has. I checked the fan and wrote all the corresponding reports. I let the customer know that they would need to have the hood & duct cleaned in 6 months.
I was called by the customer and they wanted to schedule the fire suppression inspection of the Ansul kitchen system. I arrived and did a quick visual for any known problems then started to do the testing and inspection of the system. Three of the cylinders in the system needed to have a hydrotest done on them. I swapped the tanks out to get them tested. I replaced the cartridges and changed out the fusible links, caps and nozzles that needed it. They are up and running now and I let the manager know that I would be back when the cylinders were done being hydrotested to put their cylinders back in the system.
Customer was on my list to get done for my normal work orders. I called and got them on the schedule for their annual fire extinguisher inspections. I arrived and did a quick walkthrough to check for placement of the fire extinguishers. I then removed the fire extinguishers one by one and got them inspected and maintenanced as needed. I wiped them down and put them back in their positions. I let the customer know that I would call her next year around the same time to get her on the schedule for the inspection again. I let her know that if she had any that were used in the meantime she could call and I would get it refilled and ready for service.

Performed a scheduled inspection of their fire sprinkler system. After checking in with the maintenance supervisor, I conducted a thorough examination of the sprinkler components, including the control valves, pressure gauges, and sprinkler heads. During the inspection, I discovered a corroded sprinkler head in the warehouse and a pressure gauge on the main riser showing readings below the required operating range. To resolve these issues, I replaced the corroded sprinkler head with a new one and adjusted the system’s pressure to meet the manufacturer’s specifications. Once the repairs were completed, I performed a flow test to ensure the system was functioning properly. I updated the inspection records, informed the supervisor of the repairs, and recommended scheduling follow-up checks to prevent further issues.
