CUSTOMER STATED: they had a hot water issue and a pressure issue. TECHNICIAN NOTES: called out today to look at a hot water and pressure issue. While on site I found the master bathroom is the only place that’s getting affected by the hot water and pressure issue. Home owners master shower is a kohler pressure balance Posi temp cartridge. This cartridge needs to be replaced along with the thermal expansion tank in the water heater closet. The water heater is currently 20 years old and is outside manufacturers warranty. Home owner is also experiencing a capacity issue in the 75 gallon natural gas water heater. RESOLUTION/RECOMMENDATIONS: I recommend replacing the water heater, thermal expansion tank, and kohler cartridge. JOB NOTES: need to call in autho once I get back to the office.
