Customer Stated: They had a leak coming from the ceiling in the master bedroom, and were unsure where leak was coming from. Tech Notes: Upon inspection I found that there was a slow leak coming from the second level master bathroom ceiling where only the attic is above it. I went to the attic, and found that the leak is coming from a cracked fitting in the condensation 3/4” PVC drain line. I let the h/o know I could fix this today, but this is not a typical plumbing issue, and would be considered a HVAC issue. I presented options to have this taken care of through service today, and the h/o elected to move forward with repairs for today’s visit. Resolution: I was able to successfully cut out section of 3/4” PVC piping located in the attic of home, and replace with brand new PVC piping with no issues.
