Customer stated upstairs guest bathroom, shower with whistle periodically and sporadically when turned on Technician notes after inspecting I found that the pressure did not seem high off the Fossetts, but the shower with fluctuate a whistling noise once another faucet was turned on. Resolution I remove the flow restrictor to solve this issue as the homeowner stated he installed a new showerhead recently to correct this issue. After turning on the shower for approximately 10 minutes the whistling noise never reappeared.
