Upon arrival at the customer's home, I checked in with them to discuss the issue they were experiencing with their air conditioning system. They reported that the system was not cooling and required further inspection. I asked them to provide a video of the issue, which showed the condenser fan motor seized and the compressor humming. I informed them that we could replace the condenser fan motor at a specified price. The customer agreed to the price, and I explained that as long as they remain on our maintenance program, they will receive a lifetime warranty on the part we replaced. I then shut off the power, removed the old condenser fan motor and capacitor, installed a new capacitor, wired a new motor, balanced the fan blade, restored power, and tested the system. The customer confirmed that the system was now cooling.
