Called on a Saturday to have my AC looked at due to it not cooling. Hunter with Smiths returned my call within just a few minutes and was on location when he said he would be. He quickly diagnosed and replaced the faulty component as well as verified proper Freon level and cooling. Very courteous and professional throughout. Thank you Hunter. My only disappointment is the fact that I have to pay for parts and labor for repair of a very expensive Lennox unit that still has years remaining on its warranty. The charges are questionable at the very least. The only thing the warranty has guaranteed is that I continue to pay out of pocket for repairs.

Performed a heating repair on a Trane XC95m furnace. The system was not heating properly, so I inspected the blower motor and found that the capacitor had failed. I replaced the faulty capacitor with a new Trane-compatible 5-μF capacitor and cleaned the motor. After reassembling the unit, I tested the system and verified that it was running smoothly and providing consistent heat throughout the home.
Replaced several HVAC parts in a Trane XL20i system. I replaced the condenser fan motor and the contactor, which were causing intermittent cooling issues. I also cleaned the evaporator coil and checked the refrigerant level, topping it off as needed. After reassembling the unit, I performed a full system test to ensure proper operation and efficient cooling performance.
