HVAC System Repair: Customer noticed ice forming on copper suction line outside. Inspected indoor unit and found evaporator coil heavily impacted with dirt restricting airflow. Performed coil cleaning, replaced air filter, and allowed system to fully thaw. Restarted unit and verified normal suction pressure, temperature split, and stable cooling operation.
HVAC Repair Service: Customer reported excessive ice buildup on outdoor unit. Checked defrost control board, temperature sensor, and reversing valve operation. Found faulty defrost sensor providing inaccurate temperature readings. Installed new sensor and tested defrost cycle to ensure proper ice removal and system operation.
HVAC Repair: Customer stated system would not respond to thermostat commands. Tested low-voltage circuit and traced issue to broken common wire connection at air handler. Repaired and secured wiring, tightened terminals, and confirmed thermostat properly controls both heating and cooling modes.
Indoor Air Quality Service: Customer requested whole-home air purification to reduce allergens. Installed electronic air purifier at air handler, wired unit to system power, and confirmed proper ionization and airflow. System tested in heating and cooling modes with purifier operating correctly.
